D&D Wines at Northern Restaurant & Bar 2010

12th -13th April : Manchester Central

The battle of the bartenders has been won and the chefs whites are all in the wash. Northern Restaurant & Bar has closed its doors with ‘no lock-in’ for another year.

D&D Wines were on stand with partners Villa Sandi and Bethany Wines to meet, discuss and taste an impressive selection of our on-trade wines with a potential 6,000 visitors all descending on Manchester Central Exhibition Centre in the heart of the North West,. The event proved to be a great opportunity to reach a wide range of hospitality customers as well as catching up on the latest new and developments in the on-trade food & drink channel.

Visitors were also treated to a Discover Wine Masterclass -”Prosecco Comes of Age” presented by our very own Ilenia de Zordi (Brand Ambassador for Villa Sandi) demonstrating how Prosecco styles and versatility can help to create inspiring wine and cocktail lists. Don’t worry if you missed it !! You won’t miss out !! Not only is Ilenia presenting again (twice!) at Restaurant Magazine’s ‘ On-Trade Hub’ at London International Wine Fair, 18th-20th May, but we will also upload a recording here on our website.

London International Wine Fair 2010

18th-20th May 2010 : Excel, London

The countdown is underway , with less than four weeks to go before the start of a key event in the world wine calendar, the 2010 London International Wine Fair.

Approximately 22k visitors from around the world are promised plenty of exciting changes and new initiatives planned for 2010, all designed to ‘freshen up the fair and create even more of a buzz than before’.

D&D Wines and partners will of course be there to introduce visitors to our UK portfolio, taste our wines, deliver seminars and demonstrate the flexibility and degree of support D&D Wines can offer.
